i see one problem...when i jack auto and unmount shock, arm will slide lil bit down but i experience that there's lil little bit of compression on spring. but its regular probably.
But as of right this moment, the experience good quality just isn't lousy, They can be a bit bouncy but can definitely go rather minimal. I bought em from AMI Motorsports for $five hundred shipped so I can complain!
Incorporate to quotation Only demonstrate this user #three · Oct 9, 2012 Even though that is certainly accurate, these are actually a direct competitor Using the fk's and even have a lot of people deciding on these more than the fk's. This is exactly why I am torn regarding which might be the higher of the two.

Can everyone demonstrate the specific distinctions among the coilover kits for that typical E46 and also the convertible versions? Are there improvements in spring costs, dampening, or fitment which make them special to convertibles? Would the convertible-precise kits work for a typical E46, or vice versa?
Increase to estimate Only clearly show this user #five · Apr 6, 2022 if you're looking for "rally fashion" that is streetable, i.e. suited to rallycross, bombing improved gravel roadways, I might advocate manufacturing unit springs and also a set of fresh bilstein B6 (aka "High definition") dampers. Phase rally is a complete unique ball game, I am not aware about any from the shelf remedies for that.
I would not wory much about spring perch top far too much, as long as theyre shut like in just 5mm of each other. With our autos, Until corner balanced, and every tire inflated exactly the same and ground properly amount, then ordinarily there'll be compact variances resulting from diverse put on over the bushing, etcetera.
For the OP, yellow velocity racing and Ceika make "gravel rally" coilovers for your E46. I've a 330i I might love to run a handful of rallycross situations with. Considering the fact that other mods coilovers for E46 would presently place me in ready or modified course, I have looked hard at these coilovers.
How to define out, how very low i should screw shock overall body ? I wish to be sure that each (spring and shock) are small in exact height. Now im puzzled. I decreased both shocks about one,2cm down but im unsure if This can be right. I`d want to return to STOCK setting and make reducing all over again but trouble is usually that i didnt measured it prior to set up.
All in all, I actually much like the new variations and improvements Maxpeedingrods has designed with the T7 collection, And that i look forward to putting together extra vehicles with these. There isn't any doubt that for the design and excellent, these are typically probably the ideal bang for buck coilovers yow will discover.
The PSS process is universally favored by M3 and Porsche guys, as they get the job done very well, they maintain collectively effectively, and they don't need rebuilding. You can not go wrong with these; which is my two cents anyhow.
I've a 330 crank with me. I am planning to turbo it as well as cast internals this year. I realize a tiny bit about vehicles and worked on some stock cars and trucks only.
The damper controls both equally compression and expansion on the spring and Command arm as your tires shift across different road surfaces.
or just take it to your shop for a corner bodyweight balancing / adjustment - they need to have scales along with the understand how to tune the two spring and damper ... not more than two hrs labor at below $two hundred for alignment provided ... Slovakia Is that this exactly where the car is ?
